One to one sessions mean we can work on whatever you want to - from pregnancy and postnatal yoga to managing postnatal anxiety and depression. Private classes offer close guidance, one-to-one support with a nurturing and encouraging teaching style. We will work through bespoke classes that address your personal needs, at a level and pace that works for you.
Why take a private yoga session?
Pregnancy Yoga
Perhaps you can’t make the Sunday class or you want to do an additional class in the week to support your changing body and growing baby. We can work on creating both the strength and openness needed in your body to support a comfortable pregnancy and birth experience.
C-section recovery
If you had a caesarean section and are concerned about long term recovery, then working one to one allows us to focus on connection to your core. Adapting individual poses to create an practice that is comfortable for you as well as effectively aiding your whole body recovery postnatally.
Postnatal Yoga
The postnatal period is an undeniable transformative time in a woman’s life. Those physical, psychological and emotional changes you go through after the birth of your child are part and parcel or becoming a mother. Yoga can help us appreciate the impermanence of early motherhood, that everything is subject to change and flow - the breath, the postures and life with a new baby.
Maximise group classes
One to one sessions allow us to work on what good alignment looks and feels like for your body, as well as giving you an extra opportunity in the week to practice. By learning and understanding the foundations of the poses, you can practice more efficiently in our regular group class to build strength and flexibility.
Focus on a goal
Perhaps you’re planning a marathon, cycle or swim, you compete in sports or weight train. Or maybe you want to deepen your spiritual practice or work with energy blockages. Whatever the goal, bespoke sessions can help you achieve them.
Manage anxiety or depression
Anxiety and depression can be more common than we think, something often in retrospect we realise we were struggling with. Yoga can be healing for every aspect of our being - physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. It calms the mind and can help you gain a sense of strength and control. Whether you struggle with anxiety, depression or PTSD, yoga is a positive complementary therapy.
